Arts High Alumnus, internationally renowned sculptor and print maker. Recipient of the 2006 Driscoll Prize presented by the High Museum in Atlanta Ga., the 2004 Lamar Dodd Fellowship at the University of Georgia, and the 2007 Institute of Diversity in the Arts fellowship at Stanford University in Stanford Ca. Graduate of the School of Visual Arts. His works are in major museums and private collections around the world.

He currently is collecting and compiling historical data about Arts High School , The Newark School of Fine Arts, and The Fawcett School. Newark Public Library and the NJ Historical Society, archival data from the Board of Education.

Donald Harrison
Donald Harrison Jr. is an American Jazz saxophonist. Harrison played with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers in the 1980s, and co-led a group with fellow New Orleanian Terence Blanchard for many years. He also played with the re-formed Headhunters band in the 1990s. His performance credits include appearances and recordings with many influential jazz musicians. Harrison 's records and live performances are in the jazz mainstream, but still manage to incorporate influences from many of the other styles that are prominent in his hometown. Harrison's father (Donald Harrison, Sr.) was a
prominent Mardi Gras Indian in New Orleans . Harrison was recently forced to evacuate New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and proceeds
f
rom his album Nouveau Swing will
go to victims of the hurricanes.
